Anonymous asked: this may be an amateur question but what is the difference between an "L lens" and a wide angle lens?

L series lenses are just Canon’s professional or top-of-the-line lenses. Some are and some aren’t wide angle. Generally a 50mm lens is considered normal so anything less than that such as a 35mm or 24mm lens would be a wide angle lens. Hope that clears up any confusion.
